The long and winding road to Wells Grey Provincial Park was highlighted by a wildlife contest. The first student to see a deer or a bear would win a coffee and donut from Tim Hortons. Hector saw four deer on the edge of the highway and unfortunately no one saw a bear. The stop for a moose photo and enjoy the reknowned bakery were brief and we were on our way into the park. A pleasant 50 minute hike and a picnic in the forest were enjoyed by all except the one student who declined proper footwear! The waterfall was fantastic as were the remaining piles of now for a snowball fight. The SSILC Kamloops students and teachers enjoyed the smells and sounds of nature....and everyone except the driver had a shot at a nap on the way home!
...I really enjoyed study at SSILC... It was a great time in my life, when I made friends from each party of the world and learned about different cultures and habits. The SSILC showed me how to learn English and I had all support from you. I have just good reminds from SSILC...I hope that is everything ok with you. After I came back from Canada, I was looking for a job, immediately I found at IBM Brazil... I worked there for 6 months. I've already changed my job and I'm working at Medley ( pharmaceutics company ) because I received a better business offer. I feel sure that I received this offer by reason of my English and my foreign experience. So I'm really grateful to you. I miss Vancouver! It's a wonderful city... I wish go to Vancouver again, maybe in 2010...I'm much obliged to you.
Kind regards
Bianca
